On Monday, May 8, 2012 at about 3:45 a.m., emergency responders were called to the 400 block of East Pancake Boulevard for a report of an injury accident involving a passenger car and semi tractor trailer.
Investigating officers found that a 28 year old female was driving east on Pancake Boulevard and crossed into the west bound lanes. Her vehicle collided with a west bound 2006 Freightliner driven by a 51 year old male.
The woman was transported to Southwest Medical Center by Seward County Emergency Medical Services. She was treated and later released from the hospital. The truck driver was not injured.
There have been no charges filed at this time. The investigation of this incident is ongoing.
