Witt Steps into Head Coaching Role at Hugoton

Jay Witt is head coach at Hugoton this fall.  After four years at Hugoton as defensive coordinator, Witt takes the helm of the Eagles.  Hugoton was 4-5 last year and returns three starters back on offense and six starters back on defense.  The Eagles have 60 out for football at the 3A school.

Some of the key Hugoton players are Sr. WR/TE Cade Mecklenburg, Sr. QB Gavin williams, Sr. OT/DE Ross Grewell, Sr. WR/FS Ashton Burrows, Jr. WR/OLB Adam Mendoza, Jr. CB Santiago Macias, and Jr. FB/ILB Kaden Jackson.
