USD Board of Education Rejects Artificial Turf for Football Fields

The USD 480 Board of Education  met Monday evening at 6:30pm in the  Board meeting room on the East campus of Liberal High School. Regarding  the installation of artificial turf at Seymour Rogers Middle School, Eisenhower Middle School and LHS East Campus the Board voted to reject the bid from Hellas Construction for  the artificial turf.

Handbook changes were reviewed by the Board and the Board  the renewed with Apptegy for the Districts Apps and service in the amount of $16,500.00 for 1 year.

Window replacement at Sunflower Elementary was also approved with Southwest Glass and Door getting the bid  at $26,845.00.

Inside the Consent Agenda, the Board accepted the resignation of Chad Baalman, Vice Principal at Liberal High School.
