USD 480 To Hold Kindergarten Round-Up

USD 480 Liberal Public Schools is conducting a Kindergarten Round-Up/Pre- Enrollment on Thursday May 3 from 5:30-7:30pm for parents and their prospective kindergarten age children. The Round-Up will be held at all District elementary schools on a come and go basis and parents should plan to attend at their neighborhood school during those hours. Parents and children will have the opportunity to meet the teachers and staff, tour the school, visit Kindergarten classrooms, and pre- enroll for the fall. Children must be 5 years old on or before August 31st to be eligible for Kindergarten. Please bring your child�??s birth certificate and two proofs of residency (utility bill, phone bill, etc.) If you are interested in having your child attend the Dual Language Kindergarten, there will be a mandatory parent meeting from 5:00-5:30pm at McDermott Elementary school that evening before the Round-Up. Mark your calendars and plan to attend. Help you and your child make the transition to Kindergarten a successful new beginning.
