The USD 480 Board of Education met at 6:30 pm on Monday and in Reorganization, appointed Brad Carr as President and Sarah Thompson as Vice-President.

In New Business, the 2023-2024 Audit died for lack of a motion, and the Board approved payment No. 4 to Osborne Construction in the amount of $376,337.99 for the Rainscreen Project at Liberal High School.

Dual Credit agreement with SCCC and two new courses were approved for the District. The first is in Spanish Language Arts at SRMS, and the second is Spanish III at LHS. These courses were reviewed at approved by the Curriculum Council Committee on December 17, 2024.

The Interim Salary Scale was also before the Board and was approved.
