The USD 480 Board of Education met Monday evening at 6:30 pm at East Campus. In New Business, the Board approved the two payment applications from Hellas Construction in the combined amount of $364,704.83. The payment applications are for the middle school turf project.

For the Transportation Department the Board approved the bid from Shawnee Mission Ford in the amount of $168,783.00 for 3 Ford Transit 10 passenger vans, and also heard from LHS Principal, Mrs. Kappelmann as she presented a report on the Flex-Mod schedule and provided the recommendation from the staff on what the schedule should be for the 2023-24 school year.

The Board also heard the second reading and approved the updated Policies for BDA, CEC, DB, and DC.
