The USD 480 Board of Education met Monday evening at 6:30 pm and heard from Liberal High School on their Flex Mod Schedule and changes being made to it for the 23-24 school year.

The Board approved and paid the invoice for consultation and professional development services from Jimmy Casas and Associates in the amount of $52,000, and approved the consultation and professional development services from Dr. Brad Witzel in the amount of $28,000. This is for Secondary Level Instruction and Intervention for Middle Level Students with Academic Needs.

The Board also approved the professional development proposal from Southwest Plains Regional Service Center in the amount of $53,535 for a two year contract. This is for ESL Teachers in the District.

Approved at the meeting was the sales order from NWEA to cover the MAP test and MAP accelerator in the amount of $56, 839.50, which reflects an increase of $3,240 dollars from our previous order. NWEA MAP is the assessment used to measure growth in grades 3-8.

The Board approve Edgenuity in the amount of $37,195.00. Edgenuity is used to help student earn credit for classes needed for graduation, and approved the renewal of the Property and Liability Coverage for the District in the amount of $673,974.24.

Hay, Rice & Associates was approved as the District Auditor, as was the quote from Instructure in the amount of $56,721.21 for 2 years of Canvas LMS.

The contract for LINQ ERP was approved by the Board in the amount of $73,692, however Alio time represents $28,692 of the total and will be discontinued once ADP is fully implemented.

Raises for Classified Employees and the Administration for the 23-24 Year were also approved.
