USD 480 Board Meets.,Considers Leasing ESC Building

The USD 480 Board of Education met Monday morning for a Special meeting with a light agenda. First up, the Board approved the canceling of the October 19th regular meeting then approved the development of a potential contract with Liberal Area Collation of Families to lease the office space of 624 N Grant, the former Education Service Center.

The Board also authorized the district administration to negotiate a Project Closeout Plan with ESP, pending legal approval and authorize payment not to exceed $300,000.00.  The District has been withholding payment from ESP due to project completion issues and disagreement in final scope of work.
