The USD 480 Board of Education met on Monday evening and approved Flex Seating for MacArthur Elementary in the amount of $15,280. The benefits of flexible seating include: Student choice, Physical health, Sense of community, Collaboration, Personalized learning environment, and Sensory input.
The Board also approved the purchase and implementation of Perform and HRMS Manager within the PowerSchool portal in the amount of $13,193 and approved the implementation of Leader In Me at Seymour Rogers Middle School and Eisenhower Middle School beginning in the 2022-2023 school year in the amount of $48,764.82 for year one.
Davis Pest Control, Liberal, KS was awarded the annual extermination services (pest control) in the amount of $18,520.00 for the District.
