USD 480 Board Meet, Approves New Sign at LHS

The USD 480 Board of Education met Monday evening and in New Business approved the bid from Luminous Neon in the amount of $19,526.48 to furnish and install a new sign on the East exterior wall of the LHS auditorium in conjunction with the rain and screen project.

The Board also approved the final payment application to Hellas in the amount of $67,599, and approved payment of Pay Application No. 5 from French Construction in the amount of $77,479.86 for the parking lot project.

Approved was the two year quote for You Science in the amount of $23,500.00. YouScience is the student aptitudes, skills, and career exploration tool the District has been using since 2020 in grades 6-12. YouScience meets the career exploration and planning component of the Individual Plan of Study required by the Kansas State Board of Education.
