The USD 480 Board of Education met in a Special Meeting Friday at 4:30 pm at the District Office. Approved was the overnight trip for the LHS Band to travel to Manhattan for the Concert Band Clinic.

Then what was originally a discussion item was voted on by the Board to be an action item. The Board approved the Flex Mod schedule for the 2025-2026 School Year for Liberal High School.

After an Executive Session, the Board came out and scheduled a 2nd Special Meeting immediately, and voted to approve Kim Mauk to serve as Superintendent of Record.

Southwest Plains Regional Service Center has provided a contract for Kim Mauk to serve as Superintendent of Record beginning February 1st 2025 and ending June 30th 2025.
