UPDATE: Body Found At Dodge City RV Park

UPDATE:Dodge City police released new information on the death of 25-year-old Rudy Anthony Gonzales. On Sunday, at approximately 10:54 a.m., Ford County Communications received a call about a missing Dodge City man. The caller had found his body in a remote, harsh terrain area in south Dodge City. The man had been missing since late Wednesday. Dodge City police were dispatched to the scene. No obvious external injuries were found. At this time, the investigation into the cause of death is ongoing. An autopsy is pending.

Dodge City Police confirm an investigation after a body was found Sunday morning at Water Sports Campground and RV Park. More from KWCH.com Police say the body is that of an Hispanic male in his 20’s. Police cordoned off the area at the south end of the Water Sports campground Sunday after the man’s body was found near a ditch. This closed off area was reopened a little after police finished investigating the scene. Police say the remains will be sent to Kansas City for an autopsy which will be conducted this week.
