The Hays Lady Indians won their 16th straight WAC game by beating the visiting Liberal Lady Redskins 65-32 Friday night at Hays High School.  Liberal loses by 33 to Hays after a 27 point loss to Hays December 10.

Liberal struggled to gain defensive rebounds and stop drive to the basket in the first quarter as Hays built a 22-13 lead after one.  Hays extended their lead to 41-21 at the half.  Hays led 57-28 after three.

Liberal committed 18 turnovers in the loss.  Zoey Torres led LHS with eight points.  Shamari Lewis had five points and 11 rebounds.

Hays is 16-0 and 5-0 in the WAC.  Liberal is 12-6 overall and 4-2 in the WAC.  Liberal hosts Garden City February 25 in the Big House.
