On Thursday, May 5th at 3:00pm, Officers of the Ulysses Police Department received information that an 18 year old Hispanic male had a felony warrant for his arrest through the Seward County District Court for 2nd Degree Attempted Murder. It was reported that this male subject was located at a residence in Ulysses. Through the investigation the officers of the Ulysses Police Department learned that the male subject was armed and uncooperative. An address in the 900 block of North Baughman Street was identified and a search warrant was obtained. Garden City Police SWAT Team was requested to assist in the execution of the search warrant. During the execution of the search warrant the male subject was taken into custody.
A firearm was located during the search of the residence.
