A two vehicle accident Friday afternoon at approximately 12 noon has injured a Rolla woman. The accident occurred at Kansas Avenue and Highway 83 when a 2019 GMC Acadia being driven by Chelsea Warren, 30, of Rolla Kansas was making a left hand turn off of Kansas Avenue onto US-83. A 2022 Ford F250 being driven by Manuel Jimenez Hernandez, 29, of Coolidge Kansas was southbound on US-83. The Ford attempted to brake, but still struck the Acadia as they were turning.
Warren was taken to Southwest Medical Center with suspected serious injuries. Hernandez was not injured.
