Two vehicle accident in Seward County Injures a Sublette Man

A two vehicle accident occurred Friday evening at approximately 5:48 pm, 5 miles north of Liberal at the intersection of Seward County roads 11 and G.

A 2015 Kenworth semi being driven by Isidro Borbolla-Fierro, 38 of Ciudad Juarez Mexico was Eastbound on Seward County Road 11. A 2020 KIA Optima being driven by Jacob Ferrell, 19, of Sublette was Northbound on Seward County Road G. The driver of the Kenworth failed to yield to the Optima at a yield sign. The Optima struck the semi in the trailer.

Ferrell was taken to Southwest Medical Center with suspected serious injuries. Borbolla-Fierro was not injured.
