Two Straight Ties for Redskin Soccer

The Liberal soccer team played to a 1-1 tie at Hays Thursday night.  George Tejeda scored the first goal of the game with 13 minutes remaining.  The Hays Indians tied the score at 1-1 with 12:50 left.  After two overtimes, the game finished in a tie.  Liberal ties for a second consecutive game after a tie with Bishop Carroll on Saturday.  Hays is 5-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 in the WAC.  Liberal is 6-2-2 and 2-1-1 in the WAC.    The Redskins host Garden City Tuesday at about 6:30.
