On Thursday, September 13, 2012, at about 7:25 a.m., officers were dispatched to 338 Park for a report of several storage units burglarized. Investigating officers discovered that electronics, jewelry and household items had been stolen.
At about 2:33 p.m., a local business owner contacted police to report suspicious persons attempting to sell items. Officers responded to the business and contacted the individuals. The investigating officers recovered property stolen in the earlier burglary as well as a quantity of suspected marijuana.
Two men, ages 28 and 27, were arrested. An affidavit has been forwarded to the county attorney�??s office seeking charges of burglary, theft, criminal damage to property, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.
