Trinity Trips Up LHS in North Cup

The Liberal girls soccer team played Wichita Trinity for third place in the Wichita North Cup Saturday morning.  Trinity won the game 2-1.  It was scoreless at halftime.  Ashley Carrillo found Jasmine Hernandez for a goal to give the Lady Red a 1-0 lead with 17 minutes left in the first half.  But Trinity scored two goals to win it.  Liberal is 7-7 and hosts Garden City Tuesday night at about 6:30 at Redskin Field.
