Trinity Too Much for Skins

Wichita Trinity shot lights out for much of the night. The Knights made 11 of their last 14 three pointers on their way to beating the Liberal Redskins 72-53 Thursday night at Trinity in east Wichita.
The Redskins came out ready and led 7-2 and 9-4. It was 13-10 Angry Red after one. The game was tied at 29 at the half. The Knights vaulted to a 49-41 lead after three. They outscored LHS 23-12 in the fourth quarter.
AJ Ramirez and Embry Williams scored 15 apiece in the loss. Trinity was 11-18 from three point range and 14-19 at the line. Liberal was 5-19 from three but missed nine of their last ten three pointers. LHS was 8-15 at the free throw line.
The Redskins are 1-2 and host the Scott City Beavers Friday night at about 7:45 on 1270 and kscbnews.net. Trinity is 2-0.
