Tony Rivero is Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week

Liberal senior wrestler Tony Rivero is the Hay Rice and Associates Athlete of the Week.  Rivero is ranked fifth at 182 pounds in class 6A.  Rivero is 12-1.  Rivero made state as a junior but injuries hampered his chances for state in his sophomore and junior seasons.  Rivero also has been involved in football, track, NHS, prom committee, student council, and Junior Rotarians.  Rivero and the Redskins host the Great Bend Panthers for senior recognition Thursday night in the Big House.  Senior Recognition begins at 4:45 with the dual at 5 pm in the Big House.  Fans are welcome to attend but must wear a mask.
