Three Liberal Baseball Players Named Summer All Stars

Three Liberal baseball players are showing their mettle this summer.

Liberal’s Elijah McCarter, Braxton Hyde, and James Armstrong are

being recognized for their play this summer.

They were all 3 selected to play on the Wichita League All Star team next
week. They will play a Best of 3 Series vs the KC League at Wichita State
next Fri-Sun. Game time Friday is 7. Sat-sun tbd.

Winner of the Series gets a bid to the NBC WS if that takes place.

Here is some info on their summers:

Elijah McCarter from The Central Kansas Crushers
Middle Infielder
0 errors all summer with 40+ opportunities
Hitting .424 with 10+ runs and 10 RBI with 2 HR
Will continue baseball career at Oklahoma Christian

Braxton Hyde from the Kansas Curve
Pitcher
5-0

2 Runs allowed
7 BB 41 K’s
.479 ERA
Will continue baseball career at Butler CC

James Armstrong from the Wichita Aeros
Pitcher

13 Hits
17 K’s
3.40 ERA
Will continue baseball career at NOC-Enid
