The Saints Collegiate Quiz Bowl Team finished up its very successful season today with several big awards at the two-day Kansas State Collegiate Quiz Bowl Tournament in Salina. They won the Sportsmanship Trophy, as voted upon by tournament moderators and scorekeepers, and took Second Place in the tournament.

Team Captain Ainsley Horinek, Sublette sophomore, also brought home the individual Bronze medal, scoring more than 330 toss-up points for the Saints.

Other team members are Breckin Williams, Plains sophomore; Elizabeth Parker, Liberal sophomore, and Alexis Williams, Plains freshman. They are coached by Charity Horinek, SCCC Executive Director of Grant Development.
