“That” Liberal Band Sends Several to the State Festival

“That” Liberal Band travelled to Dodge City on Saturday to compete in the KSHSAA Regional Solo/Small Ensemble Festival. Several individuals and groups performed well earning the right to compete in Salina on April 27th for the State Competition. Saturday’s results are as follows:

Matthew Rice, Tenor/Bass Vocal solo – 1+
LHS Clarinet Choir – 1
LHS Percussion Ensemble – 2
Orlando Guereca, Trombone solo – 2
LHS Saxophone Quartet – 1

It was a very strong day for the students. State Festival will be held in Salina.
