Ted Owens Speaks in Beaver Wednesday Night

Former Kansas basketball coach Ted Owens will speak at an FCA banquet in Beaver Wednesday night.   The 93 year old Owens will speak to the crowd at the FCA All Area Banquet Wednesday night at 6:30 in the Beaver County Fairground Pavillion.  Owens coached the Jayhawks from the 1965-65 season through the 1982-83 season.  He was 348-182 and 170-96 in the Big 8.  His teams won six Big 8 titles and advanced to the Final 4 in 1971 and 1974.  He was a Sportsguys guest on April 11.  Here is that interview.
