TCEC’s Operation Round Up Allocates $25,899 to 13 Local Projects

The TCEC’s foundation directors met on January 10 and disbursed $25,899 to thirteen local organizations that applied for funds in the fourth quarter of 2023.

The organizations and programs funded are listed below.

$1600 to Crossroads Mentoring
$3500 for District One DA to purchase body and digital cameras
$4350 to the Hardesty Fire Department for emergency communication radios
$1000 to North Park & Prairie Elementary Schools for reward books
$2000 to Feeding Hearts and Hands to help with the cost of meals
$1849 to the Yarbrough Fire Department for a bumper replacement
$1900 to True Blue OHCE for Spring Break Food Boxes
$1200 to Panhandle Services for Children for classroom supplies
$1500 to the Cimarron Heritage Center for new light fixtures
$1000 to Prairie Elementary School for the reading program
$1000 to the Hooker Historical Society to help digitalize negatives
$1000 to the Guymon High School Art Department to help with supplies and shelving
$4000 to the Morton County Hospital to help purchase generators for the assisted living facility

The TCEC Foundation Board of Directors meets quarterly to review Operation Round Up program applications and disburse funds. Applications are due March 29 for consideration at the next meeting on April 10. If you know of a need, encourage the charitable organization to apply at https://www.tcec.coop/community/operation-round-up/. First-quarter applications are due March 29 for April 10 meeting
