TCEC’s Operation Round Up Allocates $23,722 to 12 Local Projects

The TCEC Operation Round Up foundation directors met on April 10 and disbursed $23,722 to 12 local organizations that applied for funds in the first quarter of 2024.

The organizations and programs funded are listed below.

$1,000 to Cimarron Heritage Center to help with heat and air units
$300 to Forgan Little Bulldogs for helmets and bats
$1,700 to Goodwell Public Schools for the Goodwell/Texhoma baseball program
$3,770 to the Guymon Fire Department for 700mH radios
$1,000 to the Guymon High School for the functional training room
$1,500 for Guymon Kids Inc. to purchase two AED’s
$1,500 to Hooker Public Schools for the adult English class
$1,500 to the Morton County Historical Museum for heating and lighting
$500 to the Morton County Library for video game items
$1,000 to the Oklahoma Panhandle FCA for the leadership conference
$2,000 for 7 Days of Broadway for summer camp scholarships
$7,952 to the Turpin Fire Department for truck repairs

The TCEC Foundation Board of Directors meets quarterly to review Operation Round Up program applications and disburse funds. Applications are due June 28 for consideration at the next meeting on July 10. If you know of a need, encourage the charitable organization to apply at https://www.tcec.coop/oru.
