HASKELL COUNTY – The Haskell County Sheriff’s Office requested the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue an endangered persons advisory for a missing woman and her two daughters from Haskell County. The whereabouts of 23-year-old Martha Unger, and her daughters Madilynn Grace Unger, 2, and Haylie Faith Unger, 1, are unknown, and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate them. We are very excited to announce that we have 50 entries as of now for the Pancake Day Audition Talent Show which is scheduled for 12 pm this Saturday, February 25th. “We had several online options for people to enter on, and are making a final check to make sure that we haven’t missed any entries” said Mark Strange Talent Show Chairman. “These 50 acts will be competing for 24 spots in the Finals Talent Show on Sunday afternoon at 3 pm” added Strange.
Tickets for both shows are for sale at the Pancake Day Hall of Fame, 318 N. Lincoln and at First National Bank (Main Bank only) 1700 N. Lincoln. Advanced tickets may be purchased at these locations until 5 pm Friday. Tickets are $7 per show, of $10 for a combo ticket which gets you into both the Saturday Audition Show and the Sunday Finals Show. Tickets will be available at the door at a cost of $10 per show. “This is our first year to try this show format, and we are really excited to see such enthusiasm and participation” said Strange.
Adrienne Rosel Bulinski will be the emcee at the Saturday and Sunday Show. People coming to the Saturday Audition Show will be issued a wrist band when they arrive so that they may come and go throughout the afternoon as they wish. A program will be available with the acts listed in the order of their performance. 12 acts will preform per hour with a small intermission before the next 12 acts start on the next hour. All 24 winners will be announced at the end of the Show. Each show will have 5 judges, with a completely different set of judges for the Finals Show. There will be a short production meeting with the 24 Finalists immediately after the completion of the Audition Show on Saturday.
