T-Mobile announced Thursday it has awarded a $50,000 grant to Guymon for park upgrades as part of its Hometown Grant initiative.

The grant funds will go to new playground equipment, seating, drinking fountains and improved lighting at Dale Park.

Recipients of the Hometown Grant recieve up to $50,000 each in funding for local development projects.
