On Wednesday, April 16, 2014 the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office executed an arrest warrant in the 200 block of north Nott Street in Syracuse, Hamilton County, Kansas. Wade H. Dewey, age 47 of Syracuse, was placed under arrest on ten counts of Distribution of Child Pornography and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
Dewey’s arrest concluded an eight month investigation involving officials from the Department of Homeland Security, the Wichita Police Department’s Exploited & Missing Child Unit, and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
A person arrested or charged with a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
