Syracuse Man Arrested For Firing Weapons

The Hamilton County sheriff arrested a man for firing weapon.

It happened early Sunday around 4:50 a.m. at the Syracuse Sand Dunes Park campground area.

Deputies arrived and determined that a gunman fled the area prior to their arrival.

Deputies determined that no injuries were sustained as a result of the shooting.

Within 20 minutes of the original 911 call deputies located and placed a suspect under arrest.

David Ramirez, age 40 of Syracuse, was placed under arrest on three counts of attempted first-degree murder, eight counts of criminal discharge of a firearm, and one count of criminal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon according to a news release by the Hamilton County sheriff.
