AP) – Dodge City police have arrested a
40-year-old suspect in a shooting that left one man dead and
another injured.
Samuel Bonilla of Dodge City was charged Thursday with voluntary
manslaughter in the death of 35-year-old Steven Holt of Dodge City,
and attempted second-degree murder in the shooting of 21-year-old
Tanner Brunson of Minneola.
Bonilla’s bond was set at $75,000.
Dodge City Police Chief John Ball says Bonilla did not know Holt
and Brunson. He would not say what led to the shooting.
Ball said Brunson is still hospitalized but is recovering.
