Four volunteers coming from France, New Zealand, Argentina, and Sublette will receive international awards Friday night in Nashville. Sublette’s Carol Ann Zimmerman receives the Gallotti Award tonight for her volunteerism with American Field Service. Zimmerman helps find homes in the United States and abroad for students. She is the director of the Southwest Kansas AFS and has been involved with the organization since 1976. She is the only person in America to receive the award this year. She will be honored tonight in Nashville for her work at the grass roots level of AFS.
