A bond issue passed in Stanton County to renovate their own hospital. This vote was close, however, with 55% of voters saying “yes” to the $12.7 million bond.
A hospital administrator thinks the vote was close due to the uncertainty of the economy, but she added that it did not take away from the excitement felt by the hospital staff.
