The place to be Sunday, April 25 is the Seward County Community College/Area
Technical School campus.
The college will hold its Spring Fiesta at 1801 N. Kansas and its car show
and open house at 2215 N. Kansas.
Individuals will also have an opportunity to visit the various programs on
campus.
The Spring Fiesta, beginning at 1 p.m., will include fun for the whole
family, including games, music, food, face painting, art displays, and more.
Sloppy Joes, cinnamon rolls, burritos and other food will be available for
purchase. Proceeds benefit Skills USA, Students in a Free Enterprise and the
SCCC/ATS Foundation.
The custom car show begins at 1 p.m., at 2215 N. Kansas in Liberal. The show
will feature motorcycles, pickups, classic cars, muscle cars, street cars,
imports, tractors and low riders. In recognition of the college??s 40th
anniversary, the Car Show will also feature a 1969-70 class.
People who attend the car show will have an opportunity to vote on their
favorite vehicle. There will also be a sound off for participants.
Individuals who would like to participate in the car show, which is $20 per

Families can also take in a Saints Softball game at 2 p.m.
