Skins Settle for Tie at Garden City

In a heated rivalry game that included five yellow cards, the Liberal soccer team tied the Garden City Buffaloes 1-1 Thursday night at Buffalo Stadium in Garden City.  The Buffaloes scored first with 4:40 left in the half.  It was 1-0 Buffaloes at the half.  Suain Moncayo found the back of the net in the second half with an assist from D’Alessandro Chavira four minutes into the second half.  After two 10 minute sessions of overtime, the game finished in a 1-1 tie.

Garden City is now 1-5-1 and 0-0-1 in the WAC.  Liberal is 5-1-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the WAC.  Liberal plays at Lamar on Thursday.
