The Seward softball team gained their first Jayhawk Conference win on Wednesday afternoon.   On a  day with temperatures in the 40’s, Seward won game one 5-4 and the visiting Garden City Broncbusters took game two 3-1.

GCCC led 4-2 in the middle of the fifth.  Seward scored in the bottom of the fifth to make it 4-3.  But Seward scored two in the bottom of the seventh for the walk off win.

In game two, Marisela Landa hit a home run in the second for the early lead.  Garden City scored three in the fourth.

Seward is 3-15 overall and 1-5 in the Jayhawk.  Garden City is 9-16 and 3-5 in the KJCCC.  Seward plays at Clarendon on Friday.
