After 15 appearances on the mound for the Saints in 2023, Bo Jacob Garza has signed his National Letter of Intent with Ottawa University to continue his baseball career.
Garza pitched in 15 games as a Redshirt-Freshman in 2023 with six starts while striking out 44 batters in 43.1 innings pitched. He recorded eight strikeouts in three innings pitched against Cloud County CC in mid-March with another seven strikeouts against Kirkwood in mid-February.
He will join a Braves program that ranked third in the KCAC last season after going 36-17 overall with a conference record of 23-10 that saw them grab wins against #11 Oklahoma Wesleyan and a three-game sweep of #20 McPherson College.
Garza is the eighth Saints baseball player to sign to the four-year level, joining Ranse Radtke (Abilene Christian), Jarron Wilcox (UCCS), Adian Moore (Lubbock Christian University), Jaxson Gregg (Henderson State), Connor Cox (University of Central Oklahoma), and Elijah Bear (Florida Memorial).
