The Seward Lady Saints are 2-0 after holding on to beat Eastern Wyoming 68-55 Saturday afternoon at the McDivitt Center in La Junta, Colorado.
Seward came out hot leading 22-7 and 23-8 after one quarter. The Lady Lancers out scored the Lady Saints 17-9 in the second quarter. Seward led 57-36 after three. Kylee Hunt led SCCC with 19 points which is her career high. Hunt was Epic Touch Player of the Game. Maddy Kincaide added 13. Avery Marchino and Destiny Alexander chipped in 11 a piece.
Eastern Wyoming, from Torrington, Wyoming is 0-2 and Seward is 2-0. Seward hosts Western Texas Tuesday night at 5:30 in the Green House with Saints Shoot-around at 5:15 on 107.5. Admission is free.
