Seward County Sheriff’s Office Respond to Accident Saturday

On Saturday, January 30th, at approximately 1:30pm Officers of the Seward County Sheriff’s Office responded to an accident on US 83 at Mile Marker 17. Both a 2020 Chevy Traverse and a 2000 Peterbilt  were heading south on Highway 83, with the semi following. Both vehicles were crossing the Cimarron River Bridge. The semi attempted to slow down while to avoid rear ending the Traverse, but was unable and collided with the vehicle. No one was injured in the accident.
