As testing continues of individuals showing symptoms of the COVID 19 virus at the Seward County Health Department, Southwest Medical Center and private clinics, positive results are on the rise in Seward County. As of 6:00pm Thursday evening, 129 test have been performed throughout the County. Of those 129, 22 individuals test results have come back positive, while 65 tests have shown to be negative. There are 37 pending lab tests. The KDHE has rejected a total of 3 tests.

Around the area, Stevens County has tested 23 with 3 positive cases, Haskell County has tested 10 with positive 0 cases, Morton County has tested 11 with 2 positive case, Grant County has tested 8 with 0 positive cases, Meade County has tested 7 with 0 positive cases, Ford County has tested 144 with 51 positive cases, and Finney County has tested 120 with 19 positive cases. Beaver County has 1 positive case while Texas County has 9 positive tests.

Statewide in Kansas there has been 1588 positive tests, 14,534 negative tests, and 88 deaths related to COVID 19.

Oklahoma has registered a total of 2357 positive test, 28,542 negative tests, and 131 deaths related to the Coronavirus.
