Seward County Fire Called to Grass Fire

At 6pm on Friday 10-23-2020 Seward County Fire Department was dispatched to a grass fire North of Road 6 on Road R. Units arrived on scene to find approximately 3 acres of natural vegetation on fire. The fire was contained and extinguished. No injuries were reported and the Seward County Sheriff’s Office also responded. The fire department responded with 2 chief officers, 9 firefighters, 4 attack engines, 1 engine, and 1 water tender. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
