Seward County Deputies Work Accidents

Deputies of the Seward County Sheriff Office responded to a one vehicle rollover on Road 6, 1/10th of a mile east of Road G on January 10th, at approximatly . 6:43pm. Kenya Martinez from Liberal was driving his 2002 Dodge pickup when he lost control on the gravel road.  The vehicle swerved into the north ditch causing the vehicle to roll one time, coming to rest on its wheels.  Martinez was not injured in the accident.

Deputies also responded to a vehicle accident January 12th, 2019 at approximately 10 am.  Daniel Ford from Henderson NV was traveling east on Hwy 54 near mile post 12 when he lost control of the semi-truck he was driving for Werner Enterprises out of Omaha, NB.  Ford lost control due to a patch of ice on the roadway.   The semi-truck went into the median ditch, the cab of the truck slammed into the trailer causing damage to the trailer and semi.  Ford was not injured in the accident.
