Seward County Crash Injures Two

A car rolled over in rural Seward County injuring two people Wednesday afternoon. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a vehicle was headed west on Seward County Road 9 Wednesday at about 4 p.m. 1.7 miles west of Highway 83 and about five miles northwest of Liberal. The vehicle, a 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan, entered the south ditch and came back onto the road. The driver overcorrected and the vehicle re-entered the south ditch causing the vehicle to make a half roll coming to rest on the roof of the vehicle in the ditch. Two of the six occupants were injured and taken to the hospital. Twenty-three year old Karla Lara of Ulysses and four year old Jose Terrazas received possible injuries and were taken to Southwest Medical Center in Liberal.
