On Tuesday, January 2nd, the Seward County Commission will hold their regularly scheduled meeting at 5:30 pm followed immediately by a meeting with the Seward County Fair Board.

During the regular meeting, items before the Commission include a request for a waiver of fees from Southwest Miracles for the Seward County Activity Center.

Also up before the Commissioners will be Eli Svaty, Seward County Development Corporation, with a Resolution to participate in Rural Opportunity Zones. This is required annually and due by January 31st of each year.

Fixed assets and Designation of Bank Depositories for 2024 will be decided at the meeting and the discussion of future needs and continuation of services with Neal Coffey, Consultant for the County. Commissioners will be asked to provide feedback to legal counsel as to completing a contract agreement with consultant, Neal Coffey.
