Seward County Commission to Hold Public Hearing on Revenue Neutral Rate

The Seward County Commission will meet on Tuesday September 6 at 5:30pm in the Commission Chambers. Several Budgetary items are on the agenda.

First will be the explanation of Budget Neutral Rate and what it means. Up next will be a public hearing on Exceeding the Budget Neutral Rate, then there will be a hearing and adoption of the 2023 Budget.

Commissioners will also consider Capital Improvement expenditures, adjustments to the Cimarron Basin Community Corrections 2022 Budget, and will have discussions on the Comprehensive Plan.

The Commission will also be asked to approve repairs on the main hall roof at the event center.
