Seward County Commission Meets with Light Agenda

The Seward County Commission met on Monday January 7th for their first regular meeting of 2019. Action items on the agenda included reappointing Connie Seigrist to a three year term to the Council on Aging Board, approved the fixed assets for Seward County and Designated Equity Bank, Sunflower Bank, Community Bank, and the Bank of Beaver City as Bank Depositories for 2019.

Commissioners approved the GAL contract with Nathan Foreman, David West, and Jacob Fitzgerald, and authorized the Insurance Premium Payment to Al Shank Insurance in the amount of $526,136.50. The Commission also approved to waive the insurance waiting period for Department Head Maria Aguilar.
