The Seward County Commission met Tuesday evening and among the Items on the Agenda, issued a Proclamation declaring Suicide Prevention Week.
The Commission also had high praise for Marcie Weatherly as she has worked diligently with other governing bodies updating various construction codes. The Commissioners approved these updates.
Also approved at the meeting were 6 new POTS lines for fax Machines with AT&T, the JCAPS Fiscal Year 2019 Carryovers, and the Paperless Payment plan for Seward County.
Brought back to the Commission from the previous meeting was the purchase request from Linda Johnson of the Seward County event center to purchase a used Vermeer Trencher/Backhoe. After Linda presented the information requested by the Commissioners, they approved the purchase of the Trencher/Backhoe from Weatherly Electric in the amount of $7,500.00
