The Seward County Commission met Monday evening for their first meeting in July. Among the items on the agenda, the Commission approved the Waiver Extension request for another 6 months, approved the waiver request for the Ag Building for a Liberal Ministerial Alliance event, and Ron Warden received the bid to cut and bale the CRP grass on land recently purchased by the Seward County Landfill. In lieu of payment, Warden will keep the CRP he cuts.

The Commissioners awarded the lease financing for a Landfill Scraper to the Bank of Beaver City and appointed Ada Linenbroker as the Voting Delegate to the Kansas Association of Counties. Nathan McAffrey is first Alternate, with CJ Wettstein ans Second alternate.
