Seward County Commission Approves Request from the Treasurers Office

The Seward County Commission met on Monday and heard an update from the Seward County Treasurers office on a tax recovery update and received an update from Kirkham Michael and Associates.

The Commission, on the appeal of the decision of the Zoning Administrator, at the recommendation of legal counsel, did not discuss the appeal until the process has gone through all the proper steps before coming to the Commission.

Commissioners approved office cabinetry and countertops and their installation in the Seward County Treasurer Office with the low bid of $21,950.00 by M Builders and moved to designate Kay Burtzloff, Democrat Committee Chair and Tammy Sutherland-Abbott, Republican Committee Chair, to be present and oversee the destruction of election records for the 2022 Primary and 2023 City/School Elections pursuant to KSA 25-2708.
